Bosch and Mafell tracks often come as shorter sections that join together — here's the breakdown:

• Separate short tracks (27.5" / 700mm each): 2 brackets per section works for most setups. If mounting both sections on the same wall with a gap between them, treat each as its own track.

• Joined tracks (55" / 1400mm combined): 2 Standard Brackets works, 3 recommended for a center support point.

1. Orient correctly — Mount with the molded arrow pointing up. The bracket cradles the rail from below. If the rail won't stay put, you've got it upside down — flip it.

2. Mark your mounting points — Keep everything level. When mounting into a garage door, a quick center punch tap keeps the self-tapping screws from walking on the metal surface.

3. Drive your screws — Snug is enough. Do not overtighten — you'll snap the screw or strip the sheet metal before you improve the hold.

4. Test before loading — Snap the rail in and out a few times unloaded before trusting it with your full track.
